Petroglyph Canyon scarf
Petroglyph Canyon is a short trail at the Valley of Fire State Park in Moapa Valley, Nevada, where ancient drawings are carved through dark desert varnish into the orange sandstone beneath. The palette came from that contrast: the deep charcoal of the varnished rock face, the warm burnt orange showing through, and the hard blue Nevada sky above.
Woven in a reversing broken twill, 90% baby alpaca and 10% nylon in burnt orange and charcoal gray. The fabric moves between warm and cool the way the rock does in afternoon light. Soft and warm, with great drape. Finished with a lux 4" of fringe.
One of a kind. Hand wash cold, dry flat.
