Mini no. 22, Bryce Natural Bridge
Bryce Natural Bridge is a sandstone arch in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah, worn through the canyon wall by millions of years of erosion.
The palette came from that view: warm terracotta and rusty sandstone, cream and pale clay, the deep ponderosa pines in the canyon below and the layers of horizon.
A 2×2" plain weave swatch woven on a Swatch Loom, with a thick cotton rope woven through as a weft accent. Mounted in an 8×8" shadowbox frame, loom and all.
