Olallie scarf
Olallie State Park is home to Twin Falls in the foothills of the Cascades in western Washington state. The palette came from deep inside that forest: the layered greens of alder and fir, moss on dark bark, light filtering through a close canopy. Warm, wet greens of every shade.
Woven in a reversing broken twill, 100% baby alpaca in sage green and deep charcoal. The herringbone moves between the two the way light moves through the trees. Soft and warm, with great drape. Finished with a lux 4" of fringe.
Woven on a Wolf Pup 4-shaft floor loom in Durham, NC, 2026.
Part of the gallery. Not for sale.
